The St David’s Cathedral Renewal Fellowship is happy to announce a new monthly programme at St David’s Metropolitan Cathedral, Cardiff. This will run every 3rd Friday of the month and start in February 2011. This programme is aimed at building up people’s faith, through three different and distinct ways, pointing those who come to the true love and presence of Our God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
Empowered Christian Living
•Teachings on the Cardinal Virtues and their associated fruits of the Spirit; Thus revealing the true and manifestly power in Virtuous Christian living.
•Penitential healing services aimed and bringing people to the “Throne of grace” through knowledge of God’s Love, His saving grace through the sacrifice and blood of Jesus, and a better knowledge of the Sacraments of healing. This is focused more on experiencing God’s healing love, expecting prayer to be heard and answered.
•Empowered by the Holy Spirit. In these series people will learn more about how Christians are anointed and empowered by the Holy Spirit to expand the kingdom of God on earth. How all Christians have been given gifts for personal sanctification as well as for service to the church and society and how these can be both natural gifts as well as the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12.
